UGPA and SEE Togo equip the Dévé primary school with a latrine. The public primary school in Dévé, a locality located in the Zio prefecture, now has a brand new modern latrine since last Wednesday.
This is thanks to the collaboration of the association “Un Geste Pour l’Avenir” (UGPA) and the Structure Entrepreneurship Togo (SEE Togo). The initiative aims to promote hygiene, health, and well-being for students and teaching staff.
This donation comes at the right time to address the difficulties faced by students and teachers in terms of health and hygiene.
“This new latrine is a real blessing for the students and staff of the school, who have long suffered from a lack of adequate sanitation facilities,” said the president of SEE Togo, Dr. Chardey Benjamin. With joy, the beneficiaries praised the joint efforts of the two associations, “It is encouraging to see joint efforts to create a lasting positive impact in communities, and we look forward to future projects from these associations to further support the development of Dévé.
It should be noted that the total cost of this project amounts to 4,279,624 CFA.
UGPA is an association involved in the development of community infrastructure, and SEE Togo, on the other hand, works to promote entrepreneurship and youth employment.
